Ugly air con motors

No-one really wants to have their air con motor as a dominant feature of their side access, backyard, or worse – dominating their front streetscape.

There is nothing particularly attractive about bland, beige, ubiquitous, air conditioning motor housings.

Some articles say not to cover your outdoor motor.  But why?

The only reason they say this is because of possible air restriction to your motor and because it can make it harder to service.

What if both these issues were solved?

Plus, what if you could conceal the motor behind an impressive, aerofoil louvre blade enclosure that has these benefits:

  • Let’s plenty of air flow through its 40mm blade gaps all round; and with an open top so that all the hot air freely escapes.
  • Completely conceals the motor from view using on-trend elliptical, aerofoil shaped, fixed louvres (these louvres are shaped like airplane wings).
  • Keeps your motor, and therefore your air conditioning condenser, cooler when the hot summer sun is blasting on it (this can provide up to 3 degrees extra cooling efficiency according to some reports).
  • Protects your motor from harsh weather conditions.
  • You get to select from 26 colours to match your home’s décor.
  • Is so easy to remove for servicing by just unscrewing four (4) Tek screws.
  • Check out our “How to Assemble” video to see how easy it is, and how little time it takes, to assemble the Hideaway Air Conditioning Cover.
  • Size options to match every standard sized air con motor on the market, from small to double stacked, allowing 100mm gap all round for pipework and air movement.
  • Of course, it also helps to reduce the noise coming from your air con motor which might be a consideration for your neighbours, or your bedroom if it happens to be located adjacent to it.
