Hideaway’s doors and gates are mitred for prestige appearance, durability, and strength. Hinges are concealed (except the toy box), colour matched, and we use stainless steel screws for our hinges. Colour matched Tek screws are used for panel fixing and the Pool Toy Box hinges.
Customised Australian gas struts provide effortless opening and closing, and V-joint lids (zero gap) provides a waterproof top (on selected models). Adding Australian made D&D LokkLatches allows for key-lock secure storage of chemicals and protects equipment from interference by children, guests, and theft.
The Hideaway range has been expertly designed for Australian backyards, new housing estates, access ways, entertaining areas, and commercial businesses.
Covers are elegant and stylish, with concealed hinges. There are minimal plastic end caps showing and minimal sharp corners. All slats have reinforced centre ribs for additional strength and are welded to frames with 10mm gaps between slats.
All frames are fully welded with exclusive mitred corner joints to provide maximum joint strength and the added benefit of sealing the joint from the ingress of moisture thereby increasing the longevity of your Hideaway.
All Hideaway covers and enclosures are proudly designed and made in Australia. On some models you can select in-ground posts or bolt-down brackets (at no additional cost).

Hideaway’s frames are built to withstand the harsh Australian climate and protect your equipment by using strong aluminium frames which are virtually maintenance-free and offer superior finish and longevity compared to other types of materials. Hideaways will not warp, rot, turn powdery, become brittle and crack, or rust.
Aluminium slats are made from 1.4mm thick material and have a reinforcing centre rib to give Hideaway’s covers and enclosures added strength. Slats and doors/gates are welded (not riveted) and mitred providing completely sealed joints, and use commercial grade fittings and high-quality hardware. Maintenance is a simple job of washing down periodically with a Ph neutral detergent.
Lids are designed with zero-gap slats (V-Joint) which keep rain and damaging UV rays away from equipment, tools, and pool toys. Base plate brackets (feet) ensure that Hideaway units can be securely fixed to all surfaces including pavers, tiles, concrete or timber.
Choose from 26 contemporary colours (including the three new colours that have just been released) from the Colorbond® range at no extra cost.
Single or two-gate options are available on some models as are in-ground posts or bolt-down brackets.
Lockable latches are available across the range. Wall-mounted pool pump covers can be converted into a free-standing cover with the addition of a matching sized back panel.

All Hideaway Covers have been professionally designed as prefabricated, self-assembly, DIY storage and concealment solutions.
Each product comes in prefabricated panels with a clear schematic diagram, detailed instructions, and as-built photos for pool pump covers and toy boxes. Fixings, such as Dynabolts, coach screws, wall plugs, packers, are not included due to the wide variety of surfaces that can be fixed onto.
Hideaway is custom designed and produced specifically for you. Once your order is placed, we aim to complete manufacturing in around three to four weeks (slightly longer in the lead-up to Christmas). Your order will be carefully packed and delivered to your home or business. Delivery is one flat rate around most capital cities and major regional centres of Australia (slightly more for regional deliveries). Enter your postcode at checkout to obtain your delivery cost.
Hideaway’s manufacturer offers a six-year manufacturer’s warranty on all the slat products it supplies. This includes powder coating.
