Hideaway Covers Pty Ltd is an Australian owned business and provides a 6-year product only manufacturing warranty provided by Hideaway Covers’ product manufacturers and suppliers. Gas struts have a 2-year warranty and latches have a life-time warranty. No warranty is attributed to the installation of the gas struts or product assembly.
Powder coating warranty is limited in accordance with AS3715 Harsh Marine Environments (those within 1.5kms of the ocean). Interpon can supply 20 and 30year powder coating warranty to American Standards D2015 and D3020 for Harsh Marine Environments if required.
D&D is a fully owed Australian company whose latches and locks have been designed and manufactured in Australia.
“All D&D Technologies (“D&D”) propriety products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser for as long as they own the product.
If a structural defect appears, the original purchaser may return the item, freight prepaid, together with proof of purchase to D&D. Hideaway Covers Pty Ltd asserts its rights to Copyright and IP ownership of all designs, fabrication and construction of models as shown on this website together with assembly diagrams and instructions forwarded to customers. Customers are not permitted to provide any of the assembly instructions to another party for the purpose of copying any designs.

Purchasers are required to use their own knowledge, care, due diligence, and practical skills in the handling and assembly of Hideaway products. Due to the large variation of fixing surfaces, it is the customer’s responsibility to select the appropriate method of fixing their cover or enclosure to the surface to ensure that the cover or enclosure is securely fastened and cannot move or become a danger to any person or property. Hideaway will not accept any liability for covers or enclosures which are damaged or may have caused damage as a result of incorrect or inappropriate fixing methods.
Hideaway Covers’ product warranty is limited to that which is provided through the warranties provided by each of its suppliers.
